Our Response to the Coronavirus

I'm really proud of the people of Redemption Rock for weathering this uncertain time well!  Let's remember to dwell on the things that are certain.  Concentrate on the fact that God never leaves us; God's love never fails; Romans 8:28 is true, that God works ALL things together for the good of everyone who loves God and are called according to His purpose!  I recommend turning off the news and opening your Bible more often!  Let's not let fear dominate our minds but instead, let's do what God tells us to do in Philippians 4

4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. ~Philippians 4:4-9

Recently, Governor Baker requested that we stay at home unless absolutely necessary.  So, since that's the case, our Sunday 10 AM service will be online through LiveStream for the foreseeable future.  You can tune into the worship service each Sunday at 10 AM by going to

As for our midweek meetings like OneHeart prayer on Tuesday evening, Women's Bible study on Wednesday morning, and Thursday night Bible study, we will meeting online for these meetings as well.  To join those meetings, go to "Events" on our church website, www.RedemptionRock.net and click on the invitation link for the meeting you want to join.  The meeting will be "live" at the scheduled time.

Because I realize this "social distancing" can adversely affect our emotional and spiritual well-being and because our church is a family, I want to assure you that if you need help, we're here to help you!  I have asked the Leadership team at Redemption Rock to divide up the list of members and attenders and they will call you at least once each week to check in on you and to help you know you're not alone.  So that we have your most current contact info, would you please click on the following link and fill in the contact form?  Thanks:  https://www.form.church/77T3RDZF4R 

Also, I've set up a service where you can either get help or offer help.  Maybe you're one of the vulnerable population and you need someone to run to the store to get you some toilet paper.  Or perhaps you're not in the vulnerable population and you can run to the store for someone.  Well, if you need some kind of help then either reply to this email and let me know, or, you can text the word NEED to 508-500-9030 and someone will contact you to see how they can help.  If you're willing to help, then text the word WILLING to 508-500-9030 and someone will contact you.

Remember what God says in 2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.
