Our Response to the Coronavirus

I'm really proud of the people of Redemption Rock for weathering this uncertain time well!  Let's remember to dwell on the things that are certain.  Concentrate on the fact that God never leaves us; God's love never fails; Romans 8:28 is true, that God works ALL things together for the good of everyone who loves God and is called according to His purpose!  I recommend turning off the news and opening your Bible more often!  Let's not let fear dominate our minds but instead, let's do what God tells us to do in Philippians 4

4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. ~Philippians 4:4-9

We are careful to follow all the local and national guidelines for keeping our church safe for everyone who attends in-person services.  Here's a list of what we do:
  • We have sectioned off the main auditorium so that everyone can properly distance as required
  • We provide free masks for anyone who doesn't have one when they arrive for the in-person service
  • We sanitize all "high-touch" areas in our church before each event including Sunday morning service
  • We provice hand sanitizer and hand washing stations throughout the church
  • We broadcast all our Sunday services on our livestream website and also on our Facebook page

As for our midweek meetings like OneHeart prayer on Tuesday evening, Women's Bible study on Wednesday, and Thursday night Bible study, we meet in-person as well as online through Zoom.  To join those meetings on Zoom, go to "Events" on our church website, www.RedemptionRock.net and click on the invitation link for the meeting you want to join.  The meeting will be "live" at the scheduled time.
